The first version is being shaped around conservative content boundaries, clear activation, and simple parent-aware settings.
No always-on listening direction
Koa is being planned around press-to-talk style interaction, not constant background listening.
Removable voice module direction
The planned electronics module can be removed for charging, service, and washing the plush body after electronics are removed.

Koa is not a babysitter, a medical device, a therapy product, or an unsupervised AI friend. The product direction is a gentle companion used with parent guidance.
